- This is a commuter school and my Cuesta clients describe it as a social black hole. You must work harder to form a social network and may need to look outside of school for social opportunities.
- For some Cuesta College students, deciding upon a future career path can be a challenge. Many of my Cuesta clients are just working on their general education requirements and struggle with what to do afterwards.
- Those who eventually go on to a four-year school, like Cal Poly, will be transfer students. They will be older and more mature (on average) than the other newbies, but different than the other juniors and seniors who will already have spent 2-3 years getting acclimated to the academic and social scenes.
